Our ethos is shaped by five core beliefs that define who we
are and who our students become. Respect is non-negotiable.
We teach it, model it, and expect it for others, for ourselves,
and for the world we live in.
Every child is known and valued. We see the individual behind the student and support them to thrive, academically, emotionally, and socially.
Excellence is a mindset. For over 75 years, Bellver has delivered strong academic results that open doors to top universities and global opportunities. Character is the foundation.
We grow not just minds, but people nurturing kindness, integrity, and resilience as essential strengths for life.
Learning lasts a lifetime. We ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and help students become independent, motivated learners beyond the classroom.
Rooted in tradition and driven by ambition, Bellver is a place where young people grow into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals prepared to lead, contribute,
and thrive in a changing world.”
At Bellver International College, our House System is a long-standing tradition in British schools — and a powerful way to build community, character, and team spirit among students.Every student and staff member is assigned to one of our two Houses:
• Windsor (Green)
• Buckingham (Red)
In British education, House systems are designed to create smaller communities within the school, bringing students together across year groups and giving them a strong sense of identity and belonging. It’s about more than competition — it’s about pride, teamwork, and shared experience.Throughout the year, our Houses compete in a wide range of activities, including:
• Sports Day
• Academic and creative challenges
• Performing arts and talent events
• Charity fundraising and community initiatives
• House points for effort, progress, behaviour, and positive contribution
Each House is led by student House Captains, supported by staff mentors, who encourage participation and model leadership. Points are awarded weekly and celebrated in assemblies, with the House Cup presented at the end of the year.
For our students, the House System is a fun, motivating, and unifying partof school life — and for parents, it’s a great way to see your child grow in confidence, collaboration, and school pride.
Bellver International College is an accredited exam centrefor both Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel, allowing students to sit their IGCSE and A-Level examinations on campus.
This official status ensures the highest standards of exam security and administration, while giving our students the advantage of taking assessments in a familiar, supportive environment.
As a dual-board centre, we offer a broad and flexible range of subjects and a clear pathway to top universities in the UK, Europe, and around the world.
At Bellver, we believe in educating students not just for academic success, but for compassion, responsibility, and global citizenship.
Throughout the year, our students are actively involved in a wide range of charity and service projects, both locally and internationally. These initiatives are woven into school life and encourage pupils of all ages to give back, think beyond themselves, and make a positive impact.
Our long-standing partnership with The Lions Club of Mallorca plays a key role in this work supporting everything from food drives and environmental projects to aid for vulnerable families on the island. Bellver students help lead fundraising events, awareness campaigns, and hands-on community actions that directly benefit those in need.
In addition, we support annual initiatives such as:
• Christmas gift appeals for children and families
• Non-uniform charity days
• Eco-school clean-ups and sustainability campaigns
• International fundraising for disaster relief and development causes
These experiences help our students develop empathy, leadership, and a lifelong sense of social responsibility values that are just as important as any grade.
At Bellver, we believe that healthy food is essential to healthy learning. We offer hot, nutritious lunches daily, freshly prepared by a professional external catering company. The service is optional, allowing families to choose whether to use it or provide their own meals.
All menus follow Spanish school nutrition guidelines, supporting student wellbeing and sustained energy throughout the day.
Students eat in dedicated Primary and Secondary dining areas, creating a calm, respectful environment for mealtimes.
For all Primary pupils, a healthy mid-morning snack is provided by the school each day, so there’s no need to bring one from home. This ensures every child receives the same nourishing break to stay focused, energised, and ready to learn.
Dietary requirements and allergies are carefully managed, and vegetarian options are always available.
We see mealtimes as a valuable opportunity to promote balance, independence, and community, all part of a holistic education at Bellver.
